Who We Are
Evan Zhen (Founder, President)
Evan is a high school student passionate about civic engagement and creating positive change in his community. As Michigan's 2024 Civics Bee State Champion, he founded NextGen Community Builders, an organization dedicated to empowering youth to become active participants in their communities through civic engagement, education, and service.
Jolie Zhen (Vice President)
Jolie is a middle school student. She is the vice president of NextGen Community Builders, where she helps lead programs that inspire civic engagement and community action. Passionate about public service, she works to create opportunities for youth to get involved, give back, and make a local impact through teamwork, empathy, and leadership.
